It recreates the textures, knots and grains found in real wood whilst offering all the modern benefits of a stain, water and wear resistant floor. Suitable for interior floors and walls. PEI: ?PEI rating is a measurement of the tiles resistance to abrasion i.e. how much wear and tear the tile can handle It is measured on a scale from 1 to 5 which fit into the following categories: PEI 0 & 1 WALL TILES ONLY PEI 2 LIGHT TRAFFIC I.E BATHROOM FLOORS PEI 3 MOST RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS PEI 4 LIGHT COMMERCIAL PEI 5 HEAVY COMMERCIAL AND INTENSE TRAFFIC Unfortunately not all factories test their products. Generally, dark colours will have lower PEI ratings than light colours.	3
Antislip Rating: ?There are two main slip testing methods for tiles adhered to in NZ. Firstly the ramp test is a scale from R9 ? R13. The higher the number the higher the resistance to slip. For most antislip applications R10 is considered suitable although sloping or swimming pool areas may require R11 or higher. The second is called a pendulum test which offers a scale that reflects the likelihood of slipping. Z = Very High, Y = High, X = Moderate, W = Low and V = Very Low Risk of slipping.	X

Sealing Required: ?Sealing is required on some unglazed tiles. The process of 'polishing' unglazed porcelain can open up microscopic pores which will trap dirt over time. Most polished tiles the tile depot imports are pre-sealed at the factory using nanotechnology.
