Stacy & Adam were the only team to utilise tiles in their living room and have created a bespoke hearth plinth and fire surround that is the true centrepiece of the room. They have cleverly chosen three unique tiles and combined them to create an elegant and contemporary fireplace that sets the character of this sophisticated space.

The materiality and scale of the entire fireplace feature is sleek and very grand.

The raised hearth plinth runs the full length of the room and has a really monolithic quality, appearing to have been cut from a single piece of cararra marble. Instead, it has been tiled with a large format porcelain tile designed to look like tumbled natural stone. Stacy & Adam have then used a soft grey stone-effect porcelain to create the fireplace surround and have used the feature wall tile from their family bathroom to adorn the rear of the firebox. A very creative use of tiles, that continues the sense of flow and design character we have so far seen in other areas of the home.
