Master Bedroom & Ensuite - Chloe & Ben
Where their family bathroom was characterised by warm and gentle oatmeal tones, Chloe & Ben have chosen the same tile designs for their ensuite but in whiter colourways. This keeps the flow of materials consistent throughout the bathroom spaces, whilst also ensuring each room has its own personality. Unlike the family bathroom with the overhead skylights, there is no natural light in the ensuite so choosing the whiter tile options and carefully selected lighting helps to maintain a light and airy space.
On the walls Chloe & Ben have chosen to use Tribeca Gypsum White subway tiles. Laid vertically from floor to ceiling, they add a sense of height and spaciousness to the room and perfectly follow the curved wall that wraps from the toilet to the shower. Their glossy surface is highly reflective which adds to the light and airy ambience in the room.
On the floors and running up the wall behind the vanity, Chloe & Ben have used Frammenta Bianco. The same terrazzo inspired porcelain design used in the family bathroom but in a cooler, lighter tone. By reintroducing the same materials palette and design detailing like the curved walls and brass detailing, a really strong sense of connection between the tiled rooms has been achieved. The cooler, whiter colours of the ensuite tie in beautifully with the master bedroom with its slightly cooler tones and the overall effect is one of harmony and flow.
